Irene L. (Pilotte) Mailloux

LAKEVILLE, MA – Irene L. (Pilotte) Mailloux, 74, of Lakeville, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007, at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Ovide and Yvonne (Desforges) Pilotte, she was the wife of Rene Mailloux, to whom she was married fifty-three years.

Mrs. Mailloux worked as horologist for Wuersch Associates for fourteen years, before retiring in 1993. After retiring, Irene was still active in repairing all types of clocks. She enjoyed bicycling, exercising, fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Nancy O’Leary and her husband Adrian of Salt Point, NY; two sons, Steven Mailloux of Taunton and Russell Mailloux and his wife Christine of East Taunton, MA; six grandchildren, Korey, Deane, Sarah, Lily, Finn, and Lachlan; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roland Pilotte.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 9:00AM from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. CALLING HOURS with VIDEO PHOTO ALBUM will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
