LITTLE COMPTON, RI – Agnes “Nessie” J. (Clarke) Bayley, 84, of Little Compton, RI, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, RI. Born in Dundee, Scotland, the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Ross) Clark, she received her education in Scotland, where she earned her doctorate. Agnes was an international consultant and voice for child welfare. Nessie was the originator of “In Touch Again,” a multi-sensory approach to working with children and adults. She was a member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy. A true naturalist, she adored children, enjoyed music, the arts and cooking. Agnes leaves a daughter, Helen R. Bayley of Lawrenceville, NJ; a sister, Murial Moody of Devives, Wiltshire, England; two nieces and a nephew; and a close friend, Marilyn Penney of Little Compton, RI. Funeral InformationHer funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 11:00AM in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Private burial will follow.
