Olaf L. Nichols, 76, of North Main Street in Fall River, formerly of Robeson Street in Fall River, and a former Swansea resident, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center in Fall River. Mr. Nichols was born in New Shoreham, RI on September 17, 1929 the son of the late George L. and Izelia (Totten) Nichols.

He was a delivery man for the former Woods Dairy in Swansea for over twenty-five years before retiring 1983. He was a a former member of the Cardinal Medeiros Towers Seniors Association, active farmer in Swansea on Gardners Neck Road for years.

Survivors are friend Cheryl Gouveia of Assonet, MA. He was pre deceased by his care givers Lester and Alice Macomber

Funeral Information

A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, january 12, 2006 at 9am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River
