View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Albertina Florence (Poulsen) Larson, 106, of Alden Road in Road in Fairhaven passed away Sunday June 11, 2006 at Alden Court Nursing Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Albert Lawton, and Albin C. Larson. Born in Fitchburg, MA on August 3, 1899 the daughter of the late Captain Franc and Bernadinha (Bengsten) Poulsen. She worked several jobs during WWII, and after the war spent most of her life raising her family. She enjoyed playing the piano and reciting poetry. Florence was an original member of the Fairhaven Council on Aging, treasurer and pianist for the Fairhaven Golden Age Club.
Survivors are a daughter a daughter Barbara A. Foley and her husband Ronald of Fairhaven, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and eight great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Frederick, Albert E., and Robert H. Lawton.
Funeral Information
Her funeral services will be on Thursday at 10 am in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Rural Cemetery in New Bedford. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY 7-9 pm
