Miriam B.(Babbitt) Dean, 92 years, died at her home following a period of failing health. Born in Taunton daughter of the late Charles Dean and Bertha (Rounds) Babbitt. Educated in Taunton Schools and grad of Taunton High Class of 1930. After high school she went to work at Brownell and Burt and automobile dealer on Washington St, Taunton and in 1931 went to work for Williams Stoive Lining Co. until her marriage in 1934 to David B Dean. They lived on Cotley St. East Taunton where she died. She assisted her late husband David with the operation of his business, Dean Electrical Co in Taunton. A Member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Old Colony Historical Society, Life member of Lydia Cobb- Quequechan Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution where she served as Registrar and Treasurer for many years and also a life member of the Alden Kindred and Thomas Rogers Society and a member of Plymouth Plantation. She is survived by her sons, David Dean and his wife Jean and Mark Dean of East Taunton and Paul Dean of Berkley.
