View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – June Ann Watts Machado, 61, died at her home Wednesday, January 7, 2009, after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Taunton, a daughter of Joseph and Isabel (Lawton) Rodgers, she was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was a graduate of Roger Williams College in RI.
For many years Mrs. Machado worked for Swank, and for the past six years she worked as a secretary for Glines and Rhodes Company in Attleboro.
She was the loving wife of Daniel A. Machado and the mother of Matthew Watts and his wife Debbie of Goffstown, NH. She was the grandmother of the late Logan J. Watts and the step-grandmother of Sean and Alicia Sirois of NH. She was the sister of Mildred Andrews of Norton and Janet Rodgers of Dighton; the aunt of Kathy Andrews and the late Richard and Kelley Andrews. She was the daughter-in-law of Adeline Machado of Raynham and the late Antone Machado; the sister-in-law of James and Elaine Lemmo of Lakeville and step-daughter of Kimberly Marsden of Taunton. June was the dear friend of Evelyn Furmanik of Taunton for over thirty years as well as numerous other friends and relatives.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of June’s Life Saturday, January 17, 2009, at the Chateau Restaurant of Norton (formerly Ann’s Place), Bay Road, Norton, from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
