David Rapoza, 58, of Hope Street in Bristol, RI passed away suddenly Monday, December 5, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the former husband of Kathleen (Anderson) Rapoza of Portsmouth, RI and the companion of Lorna Francis of Bristol, RI. Mr. Rapoza was born in Fall River, MA on October 5, 1947 the son of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Medeiros) Rapoza, he was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1965. He then earned his Professional Land Surveyor stamp and worked for himself. He was an avid outdoorsman, motorcycle enthusiast, artist, craftsman, and enjoyed Kayaking.

Survivors beside his former wife and companion are four sons Marc D. Rapoza of Tiverton, RI, Jeffrey C. Rapoza of Johnston, RI, Jonathan C. Rapoza of Fall River, MA, David J. Rapoza of Johnston, RI, two sisters Lorraine Bertrand-McMahon of Somerset, MA Vivian Bertrand of Tiverton, RI six loving grandchildren Mary Catherine, Kaleigh, Jeffrey, William, Benjamin, and Sylvia.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 10am in the First Baptist Church of Bristol 250 High Street., Bristol (On The Common) Relatives and friends are invited to attend, Directly to the Church, Burial will be Private. Calling hours with video photo album are Friday, December 9, 2005 from 4-7pm in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA.
