Margery L. (Troeger) Johnson

ATTLEBORO, MA – Margery L. (Troeger) Johnson, 86, of Attleboro, died Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center in Stoughton, MA. Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Henry and Emilie (Lord) Troeger, she was the wife of the late Jim Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was employed by the Reeves Company of Attleboro for twenty-three years in the packing department. She attended the First Baptist Church in Attleboro. Margery loved all kind of animals, especially cats and horses. She traveled extensively to Europe and visited the art museums in Boston as well as the Tall Ships.

Mrs. Johnson is survived many cousins in the Bauer and Troeger families. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Friday, October 2, 2009, at 11:00AM in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St., Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Friday morning from 10:00-11:00AM. Burial will be held at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
