View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER, MA – Stephen Mattos, 53, of Fall River, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Bedford Village in New Bedford, MA. Stephen was born in Tampa, Florida, the son of the late John and Kathryn Mattos.
Mr. Mattos worked for Charlton Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department for twelve years. He then worked in the maintenance department at SSTAR for a couple of years. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge fan of Elvis.
He is survived by two sisters. Toni Powell of Berkley, MA, and Theresa Mattos of Portsmouth, RI; and three brothers, John Mattos of Dartmouth, MA, Louis Mattos of Tampa, FL, and Matthew Mattos of East Taunton, MA.
Funeral Information
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 14, 2010, in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, from 3:00-6:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
