View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Virginia I. (Costa) Facchiano., 75, of Sharps Lot Rd., Swansea passed away suddenly at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of the late Michael R. Facchiano. Born in Fall River, MA on April 20, 1931 the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Barboza) Costa. Mrs. Facchiano worked in the Insurance industry for fifty years, and recently worked for Magonis Restaurant in Somerset as a hostess. She was a communicant of Saint Louis de France in Swansea, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors are a daughter Susan A. Medeiros of Somerset, MA two sons Michael R. Facchiano Jr. of Swansea, MA Kenneth J. Facchiano of Swansea, MA and five grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm.
