Melissa E. (Poor) De Jesus, 43 years old, died at her home suddenly on Thursday Sept, 13, 2007. Born in Boston daughter of William Poor now of NH and Ester Jacobs now of FL. She was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Bristol-Plymouth Certified Nursing Assistant program and received her LPN in Florida, She was a employed as a Nurse Manager at Sachem Skilled Care and Rehab. Center in East Bridgewater and had been employed as an LPN at Taunton State Hospital. A very active member of The Church at the Crossroads in Taunton where she assisted with the TLC program and with the Sanctuary. She is survived by her husband Edward De Jesus of Taunton. She is the mother of Seth Sims, US Army, serving in Iraq and his wife Lauren of Raynham, Gabriella Sims of Prov. RI; Ariana Sims and Chyna De Jesus both of Taunton, step mother of Delores Mc Caffrey De Jesus of Taunton. She is the sister of Matt Poor of Fl and the late Kathryne Poor. She is the grandmother of David Sims, Carlos, Nyjahia and Carla Mc Caffrey,

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours and funeral which will be held in The Church at the Crossroads, Main St., Taunton on Monday. Visiting hours form 3-7PM and the Funeral Service will be held at 7PM. Interment on Tuesday at 9AM in Mayflower Hill Cemetery,
