Curtis J. Gauthier, 49, of Fairhaven died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Beryl B. (Queripel) Gauthier of Fairhaven and the late Roland R. Gauthier, he lived most of his life in Fairhaven. Mr. Gauthier was employed by the Loeb Co. of New Bedford until his illness. Curtis was a loving son, brother and a devoted father to his son Tyler whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his mother; his wife Deborah (Roper) Gauthier of Fall River; a son, Tyler Gauthier of Fall River; two step sons, Donnie and Jeremy Oliver of Fall River; a step daughter, Brittany Oliver of Fall River; two brothers, Roland Gauthier, Jr. of Fall River and Gary Gauthier of Fort Myers, FL; a sister, Susan Fuller of Northfield, MA and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Information

His calling hours are Sunday from 2-5 PM in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
