View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NEW BEDFORD - Kelly Susan Toolis, 45, of New Bedford, died Sunday, November 22, 2009. She was the longtime companion of Christopher Francis of New Bedford. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Dawn B. (Lavalette) Brown of New Bedford and Kenneth F. Toolis of Lakeworth, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Survivors include four sons, Christopher Gomes and his wife Leslie, Kyle Gomes and his wife Jody, and Jimmy and Zachary, all of New Bedford; two brothers, Thomas Toolis and his wife Elisa and Christopher Toolis; a sister, Wendy Dumont; a step-sister, Bonney Hernandez; three grandchildren, Blake, Logan and Landon Micah. Kelly was the sister of the late Kenneth Dana Toolis.
Funeral Information
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Monday, December 14, 2009, at 6:00PM in the Seamen’s Bethel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill in New Bedford.
