View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON / RAYNHAM – Stephen M. Shaw, 48, died in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, following a period of failing health. Born in Lewiston, ME, the son of the late Marjorie Cabral, he was the husband of Debbie (Rocha) Shaw, now of Raynham, and with whom he shared thirty-two years or marriage.
Educated in the Taunton Public Schools, Mr. Shaw was employed by the City of Taunton as a heavy equipment operator and was working at the Landfill, when he had to retire due to disability. He was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in Taunton. For many years he and his family camped at the Bourne Seanic Park in Bourne where he enjoyed fishing. He was also a bowler.
He was the father of Michael Shaw and his fiancé Kyleigh Haskins of Taunton; and the grandfather of Mattesyn and Morghyn Shaw. He was the brother of the late Scott Shaw, and the brother-in-law of Sandra Enos Leneau of Dighton and Betty Souza Mello of Florida. He was the uncle of Jeff and Greg Souza and Nadine and Jason Enos, and the son-in-law of the late Pearl and Manny Rocha.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Friday, June 13, 2008, at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, June 12, from 4:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
