View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Mary Lou (Pypniowski) Sarti, 69, of Stinziano St., Fall River, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph & Constance (McNamara) Pypniowski, she was the wife of the late Lewis J. Sarti.
Mrs. Sarti was the owner-operator of Mary Lou’s Boutique for the last fifty-one years. A lifelong Fall River resident, she was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church. She also worked as a campaign volunteer delegate for Mayor Edward Lambert.
Mrs. Sarti enjoyed cooking, and loved animals, her home and her family. She was a former member of The International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU).
Mrs. Sarti is survived by a brother, Roger D. Pypniowski of South Bound Brook, NJ; four sisters, Constance Cayer, of Swansea, and Katherine Pypniowski, Christine Phillips, and Doreen Saulnier, all of Fall River; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph D. Pypniowski.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 9:00AM from the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00AM in Holy Rosary Church, Beattie St., Fall River. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00–8:00PM.
