View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – David De Forest, 38, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, as a result of a fall into the Taunton River. Born in Taunton, he was the husband of Erica (Tatro) De Forest and the son of Earl De Forest of Taunton and the late Phyllis (Benton) De Forest.
A graduate of Bristol-Plymouth High School, he had been formerly employed as a carpenter at J & J Home Improvement Company in West Bridgewater.
He was the stepfather of Christopher John Flint of Berkley and the brother of Billy Reed of Alaska. He is also survived by his two best friends, Mark Petty of Taunton and Frank Tokarz of Berkley.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a candlelight vigil in David’s memory Saturday evening, June 13, 2009, at the Refuge, located on the corner of High and Cohannet Streets, Taunton, at 6:30PM.
