View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Ellen M (Cunha) Gauthier, 74 of Bradley Avenue Somerset, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Edward “Whitey” Gauthier. She was born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel J & Mary (Pacheco) Perry.
She was an Office Clerk for the Industrial Distributor Supply Company in Fall River for 16 years before retiring in 1993. She has lived in Somerset since1969, coming from Fall River She was a parishioner of St Thomas More Church, was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1948. She previously had worked at the Ann Dale Cookie Company of Fall River for 26 years.
She is survived by a son David E. Gauthier of Somerset, dear friends Mary Jo Medeiros of Westport, Irene and Roger LeMaire of Somerset, a brother Antonio Cunha of Fall River, a nephew Gregory M Cunha, 2 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 10:00am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA, with a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Avenue, Somerset. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 4 - 8 pm.
