View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Doris Claire (Cornellier) Fleming, 87 of Stetson Street, Fall River, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. She was the wife of the late James J. Fleming. Born June 14, 1918 in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Lavallee) Cornellier.
Mrs. Fleming had been a proof reader for the Fall River Herald News for several years. she had also worked for the City of Fall River from 1960 until her retirement in 1980. Mrs. Fleming was a BMC Durfee High School Graduate class of 1936, she also was a former volunteer at Charlton Memorial Hospital and a member of Holy Name Church. Mrs. Fleming was the sister of the late Normand and Yvonne Cornellier and Irene McCallum.
She leaves two sons Richard J. Fleming of Winston Salem, NC and David J. Fleming of Culver City, California. 3 grand children and 5 great grand children, several nieces and one nephew.
Funeral Information
Her Funeral will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 9:00 am from the HATHWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., FALL RIVER to be followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover Street, burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River
