View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SOMERSET – Kristine "Tina Klatt" (Klatt) Vidal, 62, of Meribah St., Somerset, died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Providence, RI, a daughter of Barbara (Bullock) Klatt of Swansea and the late Charles Klatt, she worked in the Financial Aid Office at Bridgewater State College for more than six years, before retiring two years ago.
A graduate of Roger Williams University in1996 with a degree in social sciences, graduating summa cum laude, “Tina” was a resident of Somerset for thirty-years, having originally come from Fall River. In her leisure time, she enjoyed doing crafts, going to yard sales, and pursuing and collecting antiques.
In addition to her mother, “Tina” is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Vidal of Fall River and Greg Vidal of Somerset; a daughter, Kim and her husband Jeffrey Williams of Groton, CT; two brothers, Kenny Klatt of New Bedford and Christopher Klatt of Niwot, Colorado; three sisters, Karen Boulanger of Riverside, RI, Charlene Butler of West Greenwich, RI, and Cyndy Moniz of Exeter, RI; two grandchildren, Kristina Williams and Matthew Williams; many nieces and nephews; and also her cherished friends, Robert McKenna and John McKenna.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2009, at 1:00PM in the First Christian Congregational Church, Route 6, Swansea at the intersection of Maple St. and the GAR Highway.
