View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Sophie (Pasternak) King, 75, of Fall River died Friday, May 26, 2006 in the Fall River Jewish Home after a long illness. She was the wife of Malcolm G. King, Sr.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Peter and the late Margaret (Strahorski) Pasternak, she lived most of her life in Fall River. She was a former communicant of St. John Ukrainian Church in Fall River.
Mrs. King worked many years at Jackson Paper Tube Co in Fall River. She enjoyed BINGO and traveling.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Malcolm G. King, Jr. and his companion Lisa Paulhus of Swansea; a daughter, Sharon Anderson and her husband David of Ipswich; a brother, Peter Pasternak of Fall River; three sisters, Mary Bigos and Olga Pasternak both of Fall River and Sally Masciarelli of Salem, NH; a granddaughter, Jenny E. Anderson of Denver, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River.
