View Tribute and Sign Guestbook EAST TAUNTON – Emily L. (Furtado) Patrick, 84, the wife of Fred A. Patrick, Sr., died at her home on Tuesday December 4, 2007, following a long illness. Born in East Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Frances (Fontes) Furtado.
An inspector for Reed and Barton Silversmiths in Taunton, she worked there for more than thirty-four years, retiring at the age of 62. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Frederick A. Patrick, Jr., and his wife Evelyn of Taunton; a sister, Margaret Andrews of Taunton; two grandchildren, David Patrick and his wife Kate, and Kelly Goulart and her husband Ken, all of Berkley; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John and Joseph Furtado, Mary Content and Sadie Berthao.
Funeral Information
Her funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held from THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Friday, December 7, 2007, at 8:00AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church at 9:00AM. Interment will follow the funeral Mass in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
