View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SWANSEA, MA – Raymond H. Hall, 92, of Swansea, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Crawford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fall River. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Ernest H. Hall, Sr., and the late Bertha (Duerden) Hall, he was the husband of Bertha B. “Babs” (McCann) Hall, with whom he shared a forty-two year marriage.
Mr. Hall served his country during WWII with the United States Army, earning the rank of Tech Sergeant. He worked for United Printing in Warwick, RI, for forty years as a sales representative. He also served a two-term past president of the Providence Club of Printing House Craftsmen and its board of governors for ten years.
Ray was a member at the Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, RI, where he once made a hole-in-one, and the Joseph L. French VFW Post in Swansea.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step-daughters, Rosalyn Ann Bullock of Putnam, CT, and Laura Beth Dorn of New Mexico; seven grandchildren a great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was the step-father to the late Robert F. E. Burnett, Jr., and the brother of the late Eleanor Spinney, Kenneth H. and Ernest H. Hall.

All services for Mr. Hall are private at the request of the family, and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of THE HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA.
