Marie B. (Doto) La France, 87 years old died at her home on January 4, 2007 surrounded by her loving children. Born in Newark, NJ daughter of the late Gerard and Anna (Cosenza) Doto she was graduate of Nutley High School in New Jersery. She was the widow of Lionel J. La France and had been a resident of Taunton since 1966.

She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church and enjoyed painting, sewing, dancing and was active in the Senior Citizens Groups.

She is survived by her daughters Denise Sawyer and her husband Jeffrey of Windham, NH, Allison Foley and her fiancé Alan Greenberg of East Taunton, Andrea Mendes and her husband Michael of Westford and Neil La France of Dighton; her grandchildren Jeannine Foley, John Foley, Andrea Foley, Keil La France, Richard Bonito, Austin Mendes and Connor Mendes; her twin sister Claire Natale of CA and a brother Eugene Doto of FL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

A Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held form the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, Taunton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Annunciation of the Lord Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Interment Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton,MA.
