View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NORTH DARTMOUTH – Ernest Colburn Carignan, 95, of Hixville Road, died Saturday, September 20, 2008, at his home. Born in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Joseph Felix and Pearl (Deslaurie) Carignan, he was the husband of the late Helen Hierholcer.
Mr. Carignan had been a supervisor for the Continental Screw Company in New Bedford for over forty years. He enjoyed his work, gardening, and enjoyed raising chickens.
He leaves a sister, Bernadette Outwater of North Dartmouth; he was the brother of the late Frances Aubera and Charlotte Wlodyka.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place at a later date in Acushnet Cemetery, Main Street, Acushnet. Arrangements are under the direction of THE DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
