Pricilla A. Davis

Priscilla A. (Priest) Davis, 86 of Riverside Avenue, Somerset died Friday, November 17, 2006 at Clifton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Somerset, she was the wife of the late Charles L. Davis.

Born March 8, 1919 in Fall River, MA; she was the daughter of the late Roland B. and Blanche (Desrosiers) Priest.

Mrs. Davis had owned and operated the former Portsmouth Rollaway from 1950- 1980. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour in Somerset, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and long standing member of the altar guild. She was also a board member of People Incorporated and a board member of Mass Department of Mental Retardation. Mrs. Davis was a 1937 BMC Durfee Graduate.

She leaves four daughters, Judith L. Babin of Hebron,CT; Penelope A. Poulin of Rehoboth, MA; Deborah C. Davis of Somerset, MA; Candace E. Estrella of Somerset, MA; one son, Charles Davis Jr. of Arnold, Maryland, one brother, Roland Priest of Westport,MA; four sisters, Blanche Ayash of Fall River, MA; Irene Mello of Tiverton, R.I., Edith Mello of Fall River, MA; Doris Lileyard of Illinois. Eight Grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was The sister of the late Harold Priest.

Funeral Information

Arrangements by the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA. . A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 1:00 pm in Church of Our Saviour, 2112 County Street, Somerset. Burial will be private.
