View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Robert D. Allen, 58 years old, died in Morton Hospital Taunton on February 3, 2006 after being stricken ill at his home. Born in Portland ME; son of Millard and Gladys( Demont) Allen of Raynham.
Mr. Allen was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1967; he served honorably in US Marine Corps being discharged in 1973. He was employed as a computer operator by Garland Mills and then at the Waltham Plant of Polaroid, Corp. He was formerly an assistant scoutmaster for Troop #18 Boy Scouts of America at the North Baptist Church in Brockton. Since moving to Raynham in 1984 he attended the First Congregational Church (Stone Church) in Raynham.
Besides in parents he leaves sisters Patricia Quimby and her husband Frank of Raynham and Betsy Allen of NH and brothers Herbert Allen and his wife Marie of CA and James Allen of Freetown and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Funeral Service will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave.,Taunton, MA on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton
