ATTLEBORO – Marguerite M. Davignon, 89, of South Main Street, Attleboro, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, in the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva M. (Desaulniers) Reilly, she was the wife of the late Lucien J. Davignon.
She was a former resident of Plainville, MA, for several years, where she was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church. She was a member of the AARP, the Peal club and St. Mary’s Senior Saints of Seekonk. She had worked as a sales clerk for the former W. T. Grant Stores for over ten years before she retired.
She leaves one son, Rene L. Davignon of Cumberland, RI; one daughter, Ann M. and her husband Naseem A. Ayoub of Seekonk; one sister, Anita Maigret of Plainville; and three grandchildren, Michael and Geoffrey Ayoub and Christopher Davignon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 9:00AM from THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
