ATTLEBORO – Marguerite M. Davignon, 89, of South Main Street, Attleboro, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, in the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva M. (Desaulniers) Reilly, she was the wife of the late Lucien J. Davignon.

She was a former resident of Plainville, MA, for several years, where she was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church. She was a member of the AARP, the Peal club and St. Mary’s Senior Saints of Seekonk. She had worked as a sales clerk for the former W. T. Grant Stores for over ten years before she retired.

She leaves one son, Rene L. Davignon of Cumberland, RI; one daughter, Ann M. and her husband Naseem A. Ayoub of Seekonk; one sister, Anita Maigret of Plainville; and three grandchildren, Michael and Geoffrey Ayoub and Christopher Davignon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 9:00AM from THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held in THE FOLEY CHAPEL Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM.
