FAIRHAVEN – Daniel J. D'Onfro, 67, formerly of the West Island section of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fitchburg, MA, a son of the late Daniel J. & Inez (Smith) D’Onfro, he lived in Leominster, MA, until moving to his beloved West Island in 1984.

In addition to his companion, Donna Loucks of Fall River, he is survived by sons, David V. D’Onfro of Old Saybrook, CT, Daniel P. and his wife Christine of Westport, Kurt M. and his wife Danielle D’Onfro of Wallingford, CT; a stepdaughter, Robin Scott of Fitchburg; grandchildren, Emily D’Onfro of Wallingford Ct., Daniel P. D’Onfro, Jr., of Westport; brothers, Dennis D’Onfro of Lunenburg, MA, and Peter D’Onfro and wife Christine of Katy, Texas; as well as nieces, Wendy Tackett and Jennifer Capone.
