LYNN, MA – Brian H. Santos, 50, formerly of Fairhaven, died on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Union Hospital in Lynn, of complications from pneumonia. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Barbara (Jason) Santos-Chase of Fairhaven and the late Herbert L. Santos. Brian worked as a fish lumper for many years.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Donald Chase; his brother, Scott Santos and his wife Lisa and their son Matthew DeSimas of Fairhaven; his children, Logan, Alex, Joseph and Marina and their mother, Suzanne Brown, all of West Virginia; and his devoted companion, Kim Ekstrom of Lynn.

Funeral Information

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Santos was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at 11:00AM in THE FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, followed by interment in the family lot in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven. The family will be receive callers from 10:00AM until the time of the service. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.
