Betty Joan (Moura) Ouellette, 67, of 100 McGann Terrace, Fairhaven died Friday. December 15, 2006 at Tobey Hospital, Wareham, MA. Born December 16, 1939 in New Bedford, Massachusetts she was the daughter of Joseph Moura and the late Lydia (Soares) Moura.

Ms. Ouellette had worked as a Counselor for the Center of Health and Human Services for many years. She had received an Associates Degree from Bristol Community College in Health and Human Services. She had volunteered for Fairhaven Counseling, she enjoyed reading.

Besides her father of Fairhaven, MA; she leaves one son, Barry Ouellette of New Bedford, MA; one daughter, Donna Demers of Biddeford, Maine, one brother, Robert Moura of New Bedford, MA; one sister, Lillian Machado of Port Charlotte, Florida, one grand daughter, Britney Ouellette of New Bedford, MA;

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2006 from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven. Burial will be private.
