Mildred Azora (Higgins) Uhlig, 90 of 85 Washington Street., North Attleboro died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home she was the wife of the late Walter R. Uhlig. Born August 4, 1916 in North Attleboro, MA; she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ellen A. (Rushlow) Higgins. Mrs. Uhlig had been a Cafeteria Manager for over thirty years for Attleboro High School retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Attleboro and past member of the Attleboro Firemens Wifes Association. She leaves one son, Robert R. Uhlig of Attleboro, MA; four grand children, Michelle Belcastro of East Providence, R.I., Christine Gagan of Coventry, R.I., Douglas and David Uhlig of Exeter, R.I., five great grand children, Carrie and Devan Belcastro of East Providence, R.I., Tyler, Austin, Kasey Gagan of Coventry, R.I. Mrs. Uhlig was the mother of the late, Cynthia J. Tellier and sister of the late, Lorne Higgins, Elliott Higgins and Bernice Duffy. Funeral InformationHer Funeral will be held Monday, November 27, 2006 at 9:00 am from the Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park Street, Attleboro, MA; to be followed by a Prayer Service at 10:15 am in the Madonna Manor Nursing Home, 85 North Washington Street, North Attleboro. Burial will follow in Woodlawn- North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro. Calling Hours will be held Monday morning from 9-9:30 am in the funeral home. Donations Information
