Amelia (DiNucci) Neto

SWANSEA, MA – Amelia (DiNucci) Neto, 100, of Swansea, Sunday, July 4, 2010, at the Country Gardens Skilled Nursing Center in Swansea. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Onofro and Marianna (DiVincenzo) DiNucci, she was the wife of the late Gilbert Neto.

Mrs. Neto worked in the garment industry as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, going to bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two grandsons, Glenn Neto of Swansea, MA, and Chris Neto of Somerset, MA; four great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Shaina, Ashley and Allison; a brother, Gino DiNucci of Coco Beach, FL. She was the mother of the late Gilbert Neto and the sister of the late Adeline Desrosiers, Edith Coldzecchio, Francisco, Armand and Denardo DiNucci.

Funeral Information

Calling Hours for Mrs. Neto will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010, from 9:00-10:00 am in THE HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA, with a prayer service conducted in the funeral home at 10:00 am with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River.
