Joseph E. "Skeets" Waller, 82, died at Longmeadow of A resident of North Dighton for over 54 years, he was educated in Taunton Schools and was retired from Texas Instruments in Attleboro as chief metal fabricator after 19 years. He previously was employed at the Harodite Company in North Dighton for 20 years. He was Deputy Chief of the volunteer Fire Department for the Town of Dighton. He was a avid snowmobiler and enjoyed woodworking. He was US Navy Veteran of WW II and Korean War, having been recalled to the Navy for duty in the Korean War. He was awarded the WW II Victory Medal, European African Medal, American Area Medal and he Good Conduct Medal. He was the husband of Bernice (Brown) Waller of North Dighton and father of Gregg Waller and his wife Ann of North Dighton; he was the father of the late Keith Waller. Grandfather of Lindsay and Ashlee Waller of North Dighton and uncle of Jean Pacheco and Connie Ashley. Funeral InformationA graveside service to which relatives and friends will be invited to attended will be held in the Unitarian Church Cemetery, Dighton at a date and time to be announced by the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, Taunton. |
