August 25, 1964 - November 23, 2005

Christine L. (Chace) Tedford, 41, the wife of the late Robert `` Paul'' Tedford, died on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Pawtucket on Aug. 25, 1964 to Carl and Kathleen (Doyle) Chace, now of Rehoboth, she was educated in the East Providence, R.I., schools and was a 1981 graduate of East Providence High School.

She lived in Bristol, R.I. for five years and recently moved to Rehoboth to be near her parents.

Before her illness, she was employed as an office manager for a small communications company in Providence. She also took courses at Fatima Hospital to become a certified nursing assistant.

She was very active with her late husband Paul in the Outreach Bus Ministry at the Grace Gospel Church in Swansea.

Besides her parents of Rehoboth, she leaves a brother, Carl Chace Jr. of Rehoboth; a mother-in-law, Sandra Tedford of Carver; a sister-in-law, Christine Darling of Taunton; nephews Steffan, Joshua and Coen Chace of Rehoboth; aunt Debra Going of Warren, R.I.; and uncles Joseph Doyle of Rehoboth, and Charles, Robert and Richard Chace.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. in the Grace Gospel Church, Swansea. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Taunton.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, Nov. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton.
