Theodore Garifales

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Theodore Garifales, 90, of Fairhaven died Saturday, January 13, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. He was the husband of the late Jennie (Gula) Garifales. Born in Brockton, the son of the late Charles and the late Victoria (Gaucher) Garifales, he lived in New Bedford before settling in Fairhaven 55 years ago.
Mr. Garifales was the co owner of the former T & J Service Station in Fairhaven. He also worked as a foreman in various fish processing plants in New Bedford and later retired from U Mass Dartmouth at age 65. He enjoyed fishing and boating and hunting in his younger years.
He is survived by three sons, Theodore J. Gagifales and Bruce W. Garifales both of New Bedford and Ronald G. Garifales of Fairhaven; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a Godchild, Irene Stevens; three nieces, Bonnie, Sandra and Maureen. He was the brother of the late Irene Normandin.
Funeral Information
In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated and all arrangements are private under the direction of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
