Calder, 83, of Kilcommons Drive in Pembroke, formerly of Somerset, MA, died on Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the Baypath @ Duxbury Nursing Center in Duxbury. Born in Boston, the son of the late Walter L. and Katherine (Mosher) Calder, Mr. Calder worked as a welder for H & W Industries in Cohasset as well as for High Vacuum Equipment in Hingham.
Mr. Calder delivered meals to the elderly in Pembroke for the Council on Aging. He enjoyed animals, and would do anything to help out a neighbor or friend.
He leaves a sister, Marilyn Duclos of Cincinnati; and an aunt, Helen Calder of Fall River; two nephews, Michael Duclos of Michigan and David Duclos of Cincinnati; his friend and care-giver, David Litchfield of Pembroke; as well as many other cousins and friends.
Funeral Information
His funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007, at 10:00AM in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Gibbs Cemetery in Somerset.
