Mrs. Norma I. (Pineo) Cole

Mrs. Norma I. (Pineo) Cole, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Hannah B. Shaw Home, in Middleboro, MA.
Norma was born in December 1940, in Attleboro, MA, to the late Arnold and Margaret Pineo. She graduated from Norton High School and Fisher College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She had worked her entire career as an administrative assistant at Texas Instruments, in Attleboro, retiring after 35 years. In addition to her full time career, she was a Justice of Peace where she brought her love of faith and people together for over 25 years.
Mrs. Cole was highly involved at St. John’s Episcopal church, taking on many roles. However, her truest passion was being involved in her grandchildren’s daily lives and all of their activities.
She was the wife of the late Milton D. Cole, to whom she was married for 46 years. She is survived by daughters Valerie Lynch and her husband Michael of Bridgewater, Vicki Belanger of Plymouth, and Vanessa DaRosa and her husband Butch of Taunton. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren: Jacqueline, Shawn, Erin, and Shannon Lynch; Cole and Samantha Belanger; and Curtis DaRosa.
She was the sister of Pamela Porell, Susan DiTomasso, Robert Pineo, and Bruce Pineo. She was preceded in death by her brothers Arnold, Jr., Gary, and Scott Pineo and sisters Beverly Houde, Ruth Forget, and Margaret Wynn.
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, from 4-8, at the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Saturday, December 9, at 10:00 am, at Memorial Methodist Church, 176 Somerset Ave., Taunton, followed by burial at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
