John S. Cadima

John S. Cadima, 62, longtime area resident, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Michele (Masse) Cadima, his “best girl” with whom he shared over 36 years of marriage.
John was born in Fall River and was a of the late John R. and Theresa (Paradise) Cadima.
John was employed as a sales manager at the Colony Ford Truck Center, in Warwick, for many years. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed, camping with his family, golf, fishing and bowling. Most of all, John cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Brian Cadima and his wife Kristyn of Somerset, daughter, Nicole Nunn and her husband James of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, David Cadima and his wife Cindy of Fall River; brother in law Robert Masse and his wife Sandy of Fall River; sister in law’s, Karen Hordern and her husband Walter and Margie Silva and her husband Marc all of Somerset, grandchildren; Alijah and Brooke and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 9am, from the Hathaway Communtiy Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 306 South St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 5:30-8:30pm, in the funeral home.
