Lorraine C. (Lagasse) Neilan

BELLINGHAM, MA – Lorraine C. (LaGasse) Neilan of Bellingham, MA, formerly of North Quincy, MA, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at her residence. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Nolan) LaGasse, she was the wife of the late Thomas F. Neilan.

A 1948 graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Lorraine owned and operated Murphy’s Package Store in North Quincy for sixteen years. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother.

Survivors are two daughters Margaret Douglas of Millis, MA, and Allison Hagen of Franklin, MA; a son ,James L. Fuller of Warrenton, VA; six grandchildren, Robert M. and Daniel Douglas, Lauren and Michael Hagen, and Justin Fuller and Veronica Clements; three great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frances, Raymond, and Arthur LaGasse.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 9:30AM from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 8:30 to 9:30AM in the funeral home.
