View Tribute and Sign Guestbook MIDDLEBORO – Paul W. Washburn, 53, died at the Middleboro Skilled Care Center on Monday, April, 16, 2007. Born in North Kingston, RI, the son of Audrey (Meredith) Washburn of East Taunton and the late Lester Washburn, he was disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis for the past twenty-two years.
Mr. Washburn was educated in the Mansfield Public Schools and formerly worked pouring foundation forms and was going to Rhode Island Junior College to become an X-ray technician, when he was stricken with MS. He had a big heart, a strong personality and loved his children and the Lord.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Nicole Washburn of Dedham; and his son, John Washburn of Falmouth and his former wife Cheryl Washburn of Falmouth.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held in the CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at 3:00PM. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.
