NEW BEDFORD – Judith M. (Nolan) Rapoza, 64, of Fairhaven, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of Kenneth Rapoza, to whom she was married forty-three years. Born in Boston, the daughter of Michael D. Nolan of Wareham and the late Doris (Harrington) Nolan, she lived most of her life in Fairhaven.

Mrs. Rapoza was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and had worked at Brandon Woods in Dartmouth transporting patients. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed bike riding and animals.

In addition to her husband and her father, Mrs. Rapoza is survived by a son, Michael J. Rapoza and his wife Loreen of Acushnet and their daughters, Micha and Anissa Rapoza; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be Monday, July 12, 2010, at 11:00 AM in THE FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, followed by interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 PM. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 11, from 2:00-6:00 PM in the funeral home.
