NEW BEDFORD – Faye A. (Jarvis) Lannan, 67, of Fairhaven, died Saturday, August 8, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford after a long illness. She was the wife of Ronald E. Lannan. Born in Fairhaven, the daughter of the late John and the late Lucy (Westgate) Jarvis, she was a lifelong resident of the town and a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.

Mrs. Lannan was a winder at Aerovox for many years and later an inspector at the Acushnet Company. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed flowers.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Timothy J. Lannan of Fairhaven; a stepson, Ronald E. Lannan, Jr., and his wife Cynthia of Indianapolis, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Debra Ann Lopez and her husband Joe of Gilroy, California; a brother, Donald Jarvis of Fairhaven; a sister, Dorithia Costa of Fairhaven; two grandchildren, Catherine and Abigail Lannan, both of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and a Memorial Mass will be said Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 9:00AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Fairhaven. Interment will be private.
