William H. Wilbur

William H. Wilbur,72 years, died suddenly at his home on December 30, 2005. Born in Taunton, son of the late Walter and Ethel (Hathaway) Wilbur.

Educated in Taunton schools he was US Army Veteran of the Korean Era. He formerly attended St John's Episcopal Church in Taunton. He was an equiptment repairman for the the former Western Union in the Boston area. He was best known for having his own Automobile Dealership in Raynham and on Winthrop St., Taunton known as Drive-In Motors. He enjoyed car's and playing cards.

He is survived by his sisters Jane Whaley of TN; Deborah Brown of Taunton. Marjorie O'Brien of NH and one brother Harry Wilbur of Dennis and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Graveside service will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Thursday, December 5, 2005. Visiting hours on Wednesday, December 4, 2005 from 5-8PM in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave.,(Route 138 South) Taunton.
