View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Robert O. LaFrance, 79, of Fall River, formerly of Boston, MA, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Westbrook, Maine, the son of the late Louis and Cecilia (Belisle) LaFrance, he was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army.
After the War, Mr. LaFrance worked as a barber, eventually owning his own barber shop in the Boston area for years.
He leaves a sister, Jeannette Fernandes of Westport, MA; a niece, Patricia Francoer of Bourne, MA; two nephews, Jeffrey A. Fernandes of Westport, MA, and Gary R. Fernandes of Assonet, MA. He was the brother of the late Theresa Francoer, and Norman L. and Raymond LaFrance.
