View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Evelyn G. (Goffart) Joyal age 84 of Williams St., Woonsocket, died Friday, October 28, 2005 in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Jean-Marie “John” Joyal. She was born in Woonsocket on February 2, 1921 a daughter of the late Fernand and Maria (Dufresne) Goffart.
She had been a homemaker and a life long resident of Woonsocket. Mrs. Joyal was a communicant of the Precious Blood Church in Woonsocket.
She leaves five sons Jean M. Joyal, Jr. of Burriville, Ernest H. Joyal of Woonsocket, Roger Joyal of North Smithfield, Maurice Joyal of Uxbridge and Peter Joyal of North Smithfield and one daughter Rosalie J. Dube of Sun City Center, FL. Twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest H. Goffart and Adeleine Garneau.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 10 AM in the Precious Blood Church 94 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland,RI. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Francis Church in Parrish, Florida in late November. Arrangements by THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, RI.
