Bruce Edgar Santos

Bruce Edgar Santos, 47, of Highland Road, Tiverton died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in the Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME after a brief illness. He was husband of Marie J. (Dube) Santos.

Born in Fall River, a son of Edgar W. Santos and Marie Claudette (Bosse) Santos both of Fall River, he lived in Tiverton for the last 26 years with all prior residence in Fall River.
A devoted father, card player and traveler, he is remembered by all for his strong sense of hospitality and for his unending giving to family and friends.

He worked as a Plant Operator for New England Gas on Bay Street in Fall River for 23 years. He was a member of the Utility Workers Union and a member of the First Baptist Church, Fall River.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his two sons, Bruce Robert Santos and Brian Edgar Santos both of Tiverton; a brother, Wayne W. Santos of Ft. Greely, Alaska and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 9 AM from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA with a service at 10 AM in First Baptist Church, 228 N. Main Street, Fall River. Calling hours with a video photo album are Friday, February 10, 2006 from 4-8pm.
