Bernadette Malone

Bernadette (August) Malone., 58, of Charlene Drive in Somerset passed away Monday, October 3, 2005 at her residence. She was the wife of thirty five years to Donald A. Malone. Born in Fall River, MA on April 19, 1947 the daughter of Evelyn (Cabral) August of Somerset and the late David August.

Mrs. Malone was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1966, after graduttion she went on to attend the Fall River Beauty Academy. She was the former co-owner of Cajun Joe’s and Roost & Ribs in Fall River for several years. She then went to work for the Somerset School Department as a hall supervisor. She was a CCD teacher at Saint Thomas More Church in Somerset, a member of the Red Hat Society, and avid gardener, and also enjoyed cooking and bicycling.

Survivors beside her husband and mother are a son David A. Malone of Somerset, MA

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 10am in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Nathan Slade Cemetery Somerset. Calling hours with a video photo album will be Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-9pm.
