Doris D. (Paradis)Johnson age 85 of Maple Terrace, Attleboro  died  Saturday, September 24, 2005 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of John O. Johnson of Attleboro and the late  Richard Hearn. She was  born in Attleboro on July 11, 1920 a daughter of the late  Delphis and Aurore  (Rene)  Paradis.

She was a life long resident of Attleboro and a communicant of St. Stephen’s Church in Dodgeville. She had worked as an Assembler for the Texas Instruments Company of Attleboro for  many years  before retiring. She was an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots and an avid Quilter and crocheter and loved   arts and crafts. Ashe had also been a Volunteer at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Besides her husband she leaves three sons  David  Hearn  of  North  Providence, Joseph  J. Hearn  of Mansfield and  John M. Hearn of Boston.  Two daughters  Karin A. Waldron of Bristol, RI and  Margaret C. and her  husband  William C. Bender of Atoka, TN. Two brothers  Joseph and  Ernest  Paradise of  Attleboro. Three sisters  Yvonne  Naylor  of Arlington, VA, Rita Laferriere  of Framingham, MA.  and  Ann St. Pierre of Central Falls, RI. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was  the sister  of the late Irene Fontaine, Lucie Cloutier, Lorraine Dorothy and   Delphis, Arthur, Leonel, Olivier and Henri  Paradis.

Funeral Information

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at  9 AM from  The Foley Chapel of the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Homes, 126  South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro. A mass of  Christian Burial celebrated  by the Rev. James  Morse will  follow at 10 AM in St. Stephen’s  Church, 683 South Main St. in the Village of Dodgeville in Attleboro.  Burial will follow in the Family lot in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Dodgeville.  Relatives  and friends  are invited  to attend.  Calling  hours in the Foley Chapel from 9 to 10 AM before her Mass.
