Mildred Rezendes

Mildred (Yates) Rezendes, 81, Formerly of Acushnet died Monday, September 26, 2005 in Our Lady’s Haven, Fairhaven. She was the wife of Ernest Rezendes.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Bertha (Waine) Yates, she lived in Acushnet since 1958 before entering the Haven a year ago. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and doll making. Mrs. Rezendes also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Atlantic City and shopping.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Barbara R. Richard and her husband James of Acushnet; a sister, Alyce Turble of New Bedford; a grandson and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rezendes was the sister of the late Lillian LeBeau.

Funeral Information

Her graveside service will be Wednesday, September 26, 2005 at 9:30 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
