View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Alma T. (Tabberner) Tingley age 87 of Pembroke Avenue, Attleboro died Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at home. She was the wife of Joshua B. Tingley to whom she had been married for 68 years. She was born in North Attleboro on October 28, 1917 a daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Fearney) Tabberner.
She had lived in Attleboro most of her life and was a graduate of Attleboro High School class of 1935. Mrs. Tingley was an assembler in the Graphic Arts Department of the Texas Instruments Company of Attleboro for 20 years before retiring in the early 1960’s. She was a member of the Faith Alliance Church of Attleboro and a member of the Alliance Women of the Church.
Besides her husband she leaves one son David A. Tingley of Attleboro and three daughters Linda R. and her husband George E. Wagner of Attleboro, Sharon E. and her husband Donald S. LaMay of Norton and Cynthia L. and her husband Michael F. Wiegand of Clearwater, FL. One sister Ruth Treen of North Attleboro. Four granddaughters, six grand sons and six great grand daughters and three great grand sons. She was the mother of the late John Tingley and Marion Falk. And the sister of the late Florence Wing and Doris Williams.
Funeral Information
Her Funeral, officiated by Rev. Donald Wiegand and Rev. Thomas Boisclair will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 10 AM in the Faith Alliance Church, 833 Pleasant St. (Route 123) Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow in the Family Lot in Woodlawn Cemetery, North Main St. Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are Friday, September 9, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM in the Cook Chapel of the Cook-Foley-Hathaway Funeral Homes, 160 park St. (Route 118 South) in Attleboro.
